What Students are Saying
The time I spent at Canadian Bridge Academy was surely one to remember. From the first day I walked through the doors till the last day I left, each day was a challenge ready to be overcome. The people I met at CBA were extraordinary people who all took part in my success story. Thanks to Canadian Bridge Academy, I was able to improve in various ways beyond my academics. I learnt the things that many schools fail to teach like life coping skills. CBA has helped me to become who I am and I’ve never regretted anything that happened to me during my process of development.

Brock University (2018/2019)When I first joined Canadian Bridge Academy back in August, it was not the initial picture I had in mind. I was coming from Year 11 and had expected to be thrust into a full-on rollercoaster ride loaded with work, especially because we would be getting our tasks directly from Canada. However, I was eased into the process with the help of my teachers, they broke down the system for me and my classmates and backed us up with each task we were assigned. The teachers also taught us how to organize our schedules and prioritize our work. Personally, I was in the boarding house and I had a set time slot for studying which taught me how to separate my work and my play. Since Canada is a different environment foreign to us students, our teachers showed us the ropes on how we were expected to behave in there and painted a picture of what it would be like studying there and what to expect. Additionally, we were taught about the educational system in Canada, the tests, the courses and the requirements to gain admission into a school. Accumulating everything I have learnt within the past 9 months; I can proudly say that I am well prepared to start schooling in Canada.

Class of 2019/2020The experience I got at Canadian Bridge Academy would forever be one of my greatest achievements and lovely memories which I cherish dearly. I am happy I had the opportunity to experience a bit of how life in the University would be through this institution before heading to the University. With the help of the wonderful instructors who guided me throughout the program, I have been able to acquire a lot of knowledge which has really helped me a lot such as the use of the APA format which is required for essay writing most of the time, how to make good power point presentations, how to cite an essay properly as well as avoid plagiarism which is known to be a big crime when writing an essay. I also improved my writing skills greatly which I was very happy about. Canadian Bridge Academy did not only prepare me academically for University but also with improving my time management skills as well as my perseverance skills. I got to make some friends whom I worked with throughout the whole program and are still my good friends. I also got the chance to improve my communication skills which I am really happy about. I will forever be grateful to have Canadian Bridge Academy as one of my alma maters.
